Roadrunner News

Hello Roadrunner students and families,

The faculty and staff miss you all very much. Although this is a difficult time for all of us, we know that the health and safety of our community is our priority. We wanted to share information in regards to the extended school closure for the rest of the school year.

  • Distance learning packets for students were mailed out Monday, March 30, 2020 to the address on PowerSchool. For those that need address changes, please send information to the link below:   https://forms.gle/oxoxmjkDh5BjZ8eq5

  • Distance learning packets reflect a month’s worth of work and do not have to be returned due to Governor Ducey closing all schools until the end of the school year as a means to protect our students, faculty, and staff from the spread of COVID-19.  We are hoping that classes will resume in August

  • Distance learning packets include practice and learning opportunities to prepare students for the upcoming school year.

  • A second packet will be mailed out at the end of April for the month of May.

  • For any questions or concern, please call our school at (520) 287-0880 or email Mrs. Bonillas at: arenteria@nusd.k12.az.us.

Bonillas al: arenteria@nusd.k12.az.us

Thank you!

We are ending our third academic quarter. This means that we only have 9 more weeks in the school year. This quarter has been challenging, yet our students have continued to work hard and persevere. Our faculty and staff have noticed the improvement in our attendance and we would like to THANK YOU for your dedication. We will be on Spring Break beginning Monday, March 9, 2020 through Friday, March 13, 2020.

Our school will resume on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 7:30am for breakfast. The second part of March will be very busy as we prepare for our A+ School of Excellence visitation and the AzM2 state exams for our third, fourth, and fifth grade students. We are excited for what the future holds for our school. If you have any questions, please feel to contact Mrs. Bonillas at (520) 287-0880.
